Artist on the Go

My Layout for the SBG Yearbook
Journaling:
I am Flor Rodriguez aka “twinsmomflor” love to scrap Eclectic, my favorite snack are crackers and ice cream, you don’t know that I love Disneyland (I keep buying the pass because I just don’t have enough of it, and I went on vacation to Disneyworld). It’s been two weeks on the Studio Crew and every moment is exciting and fun. I am pretty plain for cupcakes, there is nothing better for me that a buttermilk cupcake or cake, I don’t like frosting or creams. It could have lots of walnuts. My favorite layout is the last one that I made “A taste of Christmas”.

My Hero

Journaling:
I know having my girls was a miracle, but Carlita was our hero sent from heaven. We didn’t know that Connie suffered from fever seizures and the first time she got one it was when they were taking a bath (they were 3 years old). I was at work; Daddy was watching you and he just left the bathroom for a minute to take something from the garage when he heard Carlita screaming. He ran back and saw Connie pass out and she was under the water. He took her out and performed CPR. Luckily because of the seizure Connie didn’t get any water in her lungs and because Carlita call her Daddy it was a blessing. Unfortunately, Carlita got very scared of water. You would cry when it was time to take a shower or a bath. The pool and swimming lessons are still a challenge for you. Now, you are able to put your face up to your nose. We’ll help you mi Chiquita pretty soon you lose your fear of the water. You may not be a mermaid yet but you are the family hero.

My First Santa

Dancing with the Rain

Journaling:Your sister had the flu; I know I wasn’t as fun playmate as Carlita. But, when the rain came in that was it… We went outside, I took a lot of pictures and you dance, play with the dirt woohoo and jump. The rain brought magic to us. It was cold but there is not bad weather when you have a lot of fun.

Prima Ballerinas

Journaling:
Connie, you and Carlita had so much fun at the dance. I know how disappointed you were since you this class started with more experienced girls. But tonight was your night somehow the bigger girls got confused and everybody stopped and you lead the group with no problems. You were with a big smile again. Mommy and Daddy were proud as always of both of you.

Snow Bear

Journaling:
Snow Bear is now your favorite story. It’s funny you don’t know how to read yet but you memorize the book and like to read it to me. Such a sweet little story about the bear waiting for his Mom, the best portion was when you told me “It’s the same with us Mom, we wait for you to come home from work”. Somehow every day you have a way to touch my heart.

Indonesia Wonder

Journaling:
It seems like yesterday that we were at Carito’s house in Thailand. We loved it, but unfortunately we didn’t have time to visit Indonesia. Carito said that it was a magical place one of the best vacation they ever had even with the two little ones (Lauren 9mos, Brian 1.5 years)… Someday we will…

Christmas Card

I had my Christmas card ready when my husband wanted both of our photos in the card. I don’t know why I let him talked me into do it.
I end up changing a layout that I was doing regarding my girls baking.

Here are my both layouts. I will only post the card to the sites.

Journaling:
We know, we are ready when we start baking cookies and set up our tree. You guys are getting to be "pros”. Connie loves to make cookies as tinkerbell. She is flying with the flour.

Christmas Wish

My photo had too much exposure that the colors of the dresses were faded. However, I was able to give more color to almost everything else. We don’t have snow here but the magic of photoshop made it possible. My girls love it.
They got their first with “want to be in picture with Santa”
